Woodburn Primary School

It has been an exciting week delivering the handover Woodburn Primary school, Carrickfergus.
The new school is both fun and vibrant, providing a great educational environment for the children at the heart of the project, helping to shape their education.

The building makes perfect use of natural lighting throughout the main circulation spaces via the curtain walling and skylights.

The vaulted ceilings create an uplifting spatial arrangement within the main hall and resource area creating the perfect learning environment for the children.

The classrooms adjoining the resource spaces each have an individual colour making each teaching space exciting and unique.

It has been a pleasure working with Glasgiven Contracts, McAdam Design and the Education Authority to ensure that the best scheme has been formed.

KnoxClayton have proved they are able to produce innovative design solutions, fully reflective of client requirements in ever changing environments.

The Board of Governors of Enniskillen Integrated Primary School appointed KnoxClayton as their architects, selected from an impressive list of experience in design.  They were entrusted with the design of our much longed for new school build and they didn’t disappoint!
