Eleven new social housing units comprising of 10 no. semi-detached two storey two bedroom dwellings and 1 no. three bedroom bungalow to cater for wheelchair users. Homes were designed to CSH Code 4 giving a very high specification in terms of sustainability .

The timber framed homes have outer walls made from hempcrete; a bio-composite material that blends hemp with a special lime based render to create a zero carbon product. This project is the largest in Ireland using this new technology. Homes also contain triple glazing, mechanical ventilation and heat recovery and photovoltaic roof panels to convert sunlight into electricity to help increase fuel efficiency and reduce running costs for tenants.
