Manuel studied at UPC University, Barcelona graduating in 2004 with a BSc degree in Architectural Technology. During his final year at university, he began to work in a local architecture office, where he started his professional career. He became a member of the CAATEEB (Architect Technician’s professional college of Barcelona) in 2005.

Manuel continued to study whilst working and graduated in 2009 with a second BSc (Hons) degree in Industry Organisation Engineering.

In 2010 Manuel moved to Scotland to study an MSc in Environmental Sustainability at Napier University, Edinburgh. After graduating in 2011, he pursued his career further by working for a local architecture office in Edinburgh.

In 2017 Manuel moved to Northern Ireland with his wife and children. He worked for an architecture office in Belfast before settling into his current position at KnoxClayton in 2022.

Manuel has more than 15 years of experience in a wide variety of Commercial and Residential projects.

Manuel´s interest are BIM (Building Information Modelling) and Energy Efficiency for Buildings.
