Grainne worked as a qualified architectural technologist for a number of years before training formally as an Architect at the University of Lincolnshire and Humberside and registering with ARB in 2005.

Prior to joining KCA, as Estates Manager for Queens University Estates Directorate she was instrumental in the brief development and design of the New Student Centre up to receipt of Planning Approval.  She has also worked for a number of leading local architectural and multi-disciplinary practices gaining experience working on projects for both public and private sector clients, from brief development, feasibility, and concept level, through to detailed design and construction on site. She has worked on a wide variety of building types including residential, educational, healthcare, leisure, commercial, retail, ecclesiastical, community and conservation.
