Charlene studied at Queen’s University, Belfast graduating with a MArch in Architecture RIBA Part 2 in 2013; having previously gained a BSc in Architecture RIBA Part 1. Prior to joining KnoxClayton Architects in 2015, Charlene gained extensive professional experience working for HFKS Architects Inc. in Canada, predominantly working on landmark, multi-million dollar health-care, and Institutional projects in Alberta.
Since joining KnoxClayton, Charlene completed her RIBA Part 3 Professional Practice Certificate in 2017. She is a member of RIBA and a registered Architect. Charlene has worked on a broad range of health-care, educational and residential projects as well as pioneering the introduction of BIM (Building Information Modelling) to the practice. Most notably, Charlene plays a key role in the architectural team that is delivering a new Strule Shared Education Campus in Omagh. Charlene has experience working on projects from feasibility and concept level, through to detailed design and build on site.
