A white rendered one and a half storey house with a dark slate roof, sited to give a 360 degree view of the surrounding countryside. The building exterior has a traditional rural style of architecture with a contemporary sloping glazed roof that turns vertically to meet the entrance porch. A southwest facing courtyard extends from the kitchen through a glazed wall creating an outside room that also generates solar gain and injects light into the open plan interior.
