The dwelling is in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the south shore of Lough Neagh. The existing dwelling was built thirty five years previously and was a traditional dwelling to house two reception rooms and four bedrooms with bathroom, en suite and utility room. The project involved the demolition of 50% of the existing house to rebuild the new accommodation, while making temporary provision in the remainder of the house for kitchen and living. When the main building work was completed the remainder of the house was refurbished and altered. The project incorporated building works, interiors and landscaping proposals.
