Knox & Clayton was appointed following an open tender and design competition to design a new-style fire and rescue station which would also serve as a welcoming drop-in centre for the community. The Proposed Fire & Rescue Station features a unique winged form which links the traditional Appliance Bay and Fire Fighting Areas with the public Community Fire Safety facilities.
